Check Your Bits is a New Zealand bodycare brand with a mission: to increase the number of Kiwis performing regular self-checks. Founded in Otautahi by Tamara and Ryan Milne after Tamara found a lump during a shower self-check at 33, the range – body wash, refills and body oil – turns a daily routine into a life-saving habit, and funds self-check education across Aotearoa.
Tamara Milne is a radiographer, mum of three and breast cancer survivor. Diagnosed at 33, ten days after finding a lump in the shower, she now speaks nationwide about body literacy, self-checking and being your own biggest health advocate. She co-founded Check Your Bits with her husband Ryan.
